Swaye – Billing Information

This Billing Information Policy explains how payments are processed when you place an order on Swaye.co.uk. It ensures transparency and protects customers.

1. Accepted Payment Methods:

We accept the following secure payment methods:

• Maestro
• PayPal
• Apple Pay / Google Pay (where available)
• Klarna or other buy-now-pay-later services (if enabled on the website)

All payments must be authorised before an order is confirmed.

2. When You Are Charged:

Immediate Payment

For most orders, your payment is taken in full at the time of purchase, including:
• In-stock items
• Sale items
• Standard products

Pre-Orders & Made-to-Order Items

If you purchase a pre-order or made-to-order product, your payment may also be taken immediately to secure your reservation. This will be clearly shown at checkout.

3. Billing Information Accuracy:

You must provide accurate, complete billing information, including:
• Full name
• Billing address
• Contact email and phone number
• Valid payment details

If any information is incorrect, your order may be delayed or cancelled until it is corrected.

4. Order Confirmation:

Once your payment is successful, you will receive an order confirmation email containing:
• Order number
• Billing summary
• Delivery address
• Items purchased

If you do not receive this email, please check your spam folder or contact us.

5. Fraud Prevention & Security Checks:

To protect customers, Swaye may carry out automated or manual security checks on some orders.
This may include:
• Verifying billing address
• Confirming payment authenticity
• Requesting additional information (in rare cases)

Orders that cannot be verified may be cancelled and refunded.

6. Pricing & Taxes:

All prices on Swaye.co.uk:
• Are shown in GBP (£)
• Include UK VAT
• Exclude delivery fees unless clearly stated

Any delivery fees will be shown separately at checkout before you complete your order.

7. Failed or Declined Payments:

If your payment fails or is declined:
• The order will not be processed
• You may be asked to use another payment method
• Items will not be reserved until payment is successful

8. Refunds to Original Payment Method:

All approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method used at checkout.
Refund times vary depending on the provider:
• Banks & credit cards: 3–10 working days
• PayPal: typically within 48 hours
• Klarna or finance providers: may take up to 14 days depending on their policies

We cannot issue refunds to alternate cards or accounts.

9. Payment Plans & Finance (If Applicable):

If you choose Klarna or another finance provider:
• Your agreement will be directly with that provider
• Their terms and conditions apply
• Their billing schedule will determine when and how you are charged

Swaye does not have access to your finance account and cannot alter repayment terms.
